چکیده

Invar alloys Ni 31 (Fe 69-x Cr x ) x=3, 4, 6 and 8 (at.%) in the temperature range 120-400 K have been studied by magnetic Messbauer methods. It is find out absence of a hyperfine structure 57 Fe nuclei magnetically ordered for with x=6 8. The can be represented as system superparamagnetic clusters, moments which relax between differently populated energy levels. phenomenon explained increased frequency relaxation these Keywords: invar alloy, magnetization, Curie temperature, moment, process, effect.

Magnetic Effects in Chromium-platinum Alloys

Velocity of sound and thermal expansion measurements on Cr-Pt alloys in the concentration range up to 1.5 at.% Pt are reported. The existence of a triple point and a mixed magnetic state on the magnetic phase diagram is suggested. The magnetic phase diagram [I] of dilute Cr-Pt alloys contains a paramagnetic (P), an incommensurate (I) and a commensurate (C) spin density wave (SDW) phase. Rather ...

Magnetic moments of chromium-doped gold clusters: the Anderson impurity model in finite systems.

The magnetic moment of a single impurity atom in a finite free electron gas is studied in a combined x-ray magnetic circular dichroism spectroscopy, charge transfer multiplet calculation, and density functional theory study of size-selected free chromium-doped gold clusters. The observed size dependence of the local magnetic moment can be understood as a transition from a local moment to a mixe...

0 ” Cold Melting ” of Invar Alloys

An anomalously strong volume magnetostriction in Invars may lead to a situation when at low temperatures the dislocation free energy becomes negative and a multiple generation of dislocations becomes possible. This generation induces a first order phase transition from the FCC crystalline to an amorphous state, and may be called " cold melting ". The possibility of the cold melting in Invars is...

Invar effect in Pu-Ga alloys

We show that the anomalous thermal expansion behavior of Pu-Ga alloys can be explained by an invar effect, which is modeled by assuming the thermal transfer of Pu atoms from a lower-energy, higher-volume δ1 state to a higher-energy, lowervolume δ2 state. From a fit to the available neutron diffraction data on the lattice constants of Pu-Ga alloys, the energy separation of these states is found ...

Invar Behavior and Martensitic Transitions in FeNiPt Alloys

We determined the structural and the magnetic phase diagram for the disordered, ternary system FeNiPt in the Fe-rich corner in the vicinity of the y(fcc)-a(bcc) transition region along the quasi binary cross section Fe,-,(Pt50Ni50), with x=0.28, 0.3, 0.31, 0.32 and 0.35. All alloys are characterized by X-ray investigations, magnetization measurements M(T,H) (4.2K<T<850K), as well as resistivity...
